2018 ACTION PLAN FOR KAMULI CHILD CARE
The main activity for the 2018 action plan is constructing a 2 classroom block and water harvesting. So far our partners from the Netherlands( the Malden/Heumen Church, Sint Nicholaas school and Mirembe Foundation) have fully supported the kamuli community.
The new block is about to be finished and water harvesting tanks will be soon put in place.
On the 7th of May Kamuli community received the chairman of Rotary Woerden, Netherlands Miss Meike te Giffel and her husband Wim. The purpose of the visit aimed at looking to the community and developing together a water project which could possibly be funded by Rotary Netherlands as they have been doing with other TUL projects.
We concluded drilling of a borehole, pumping the water to the school and letting it flow by gravity to the town for the community to access. The chairman Rotary will work on the fundraising in the Netherlands.
